Streetwear Trends Shaping 2026 Custom Orders

Streetwear moves fast, but the custom orders actually landing in our production queue this year point to a few clear, buildable trends — not just runway noise.

Oversized, but structured

Oversized silhouettes are still dominant, but the pattern requests we're seeing have gotten more deliberate — drop shoulders and boxy cuts paired with structured hems and cuffs, rather than simply sizing up a standard block. That structure is a pattern-making detail worth specifying clearly in your tech pack.

Heavyweight fleece is back

Hoodies and sweatshirts in the 400–500 GSM range are outselling lighter fleece in most of the streetwear orders we're producing, particularly for brands targeting a premium price point. Heavier fleece also holds embroidery and appliqué better than lighter blends, which matters for detailed branding.

Small-batch, frequent drops

Instead of two or three large seasonal orders, more of our streetwear clients are running smaller, more frequent production batches — testing colorways or graphics at lower MOQs before committing to a bigger run. This shifts sampling and turnaround speed higher on the priority list versus pure unit cost.

Elevated basics over loud graphics

Oversized tees and shirts with minimal branding — a small embroidered logo rather than a full-chest print — are a growing share of orders. It's a shift toward fabric quality and fit doing the work that a bold graphic used to.
